Transparent Language Online offers a comprehensive language learning solution. Quickly and easily learn a language, with a variety of courses and activities, in a flexible program. Over 100 different languages are available. Access from outside the Library is also available.
Lincoln City Libraries enacted a fine-free policy on September 1, 2022, in recognition of the impact that fines played in limiting library usage among low-income families and caregivers. This special report shows the benefits to the Library and to our patrons from going fine free!
Families are invited to participate in the “Read to a Dog” program offered by Lincoln City Libraries and Healing Heart Therapy Dogs, a local therapy dog organization. The program provides an opportunity for children from kindergarten to age 12 to practice their reading by reading aloud weekly to a dog for 30 to 35 minutes for six weeks. The spring session runs from March 3 to April 13.
