Lincoln City Libraries Page to Stage Program Continues February 18

Rainbow Fish Storytime: A Page to Stage Program - Lied Center for Performing Arts

Lincoln City Libraries (LCL) today announced that the Page to Stage program continues with a special event Sunday, February 18. The collaboration with the Lied Center for the Performing Arts allows residents to participate in special events that combine reading and the performing arts into a unique cultural experience.

Members of the cast of Rainbow Fish will join LCL storyteller, Sharon, for a mixed ages storytime from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Bennett Martin Public Library, 136 S. 14th Street. The event offers children and their families a chance to see the puppets from the Rainbow Fish touring production, make a craft, and hear the books Rainbow Fish and Rainbow Fish Discovers the Deep Sea. Parking is free downtown on Sundays.

Specific dates for the remaining 2024 Page to Stage performance season will be determined closer to the performance dates. The event schedule is as follows:

March 2024 – Show Way The Musical and Momix: Alice
June 2024 – To Kill a Mockingbird

“This partnership is a testament to our commitment to providing diverse experiences, promoting lifelong learning, and bringing together people from all walks of life. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community, where the arts and literature flourish hand in hand,” said Traci Glass, Lincoln City Libraries Assistant Director.
