Hey, mystery fans! Looking for something good to read?
At the May 2017 Just Desserts meeting a week ago, we held our annual “Series Share” meeting, in which group members were encouraged to read the first or second volume in a new series that’s started within the past couple of years, and share their thoughts in a “round-robin” format. Here’s a list of the novels/series that were mentioned by group members, plus whether they gave them a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” (a feature missed in this year’s meeting):

- Linda – August Snow, a stand-alone novel by Stephen Mack Jones
- ??? – Deadly Pedigree, the first in the Nick Herald series by Jimmy Fox
- Suzy – Murder Wears White, the second in the Wedding Planner series by Stephanie Blackmore, and A Perilous Undertaking, the second in the Veronica Speedwell Victorian mystery series by Deanna Raybourn
- ??? – Peaches and Scream, the first in the Georgia Peach mystery series by Susan Furlong
- Barb – Murder is Binding, the first in the Booktown Mysteries series by Lorna Barrett
